Berichtje over ons doel!

Een berichtje over het dorp waar we de auto heen gaan brengen! Het heet Sohm Village en ligt ongeveer hier:

Het berichtje, naar aanleiding van de vraag van or de Bresser (organisator van de Antwerpen Banjul Challenge) om eerst even te kijken hoe de situatie in het dorp is voordat de auto er heen gebracht wordt.

the village have about five more settlements around them and no ambulance within all those villages, therefore, if a patient is sick they have to either use a taxi and the or transport the sick person to the high way running from Banjul to Soma a

the villagers have expressed their appreciation and cannot wait to received the ambulance and they said they will welcome you and it will be the best welcome you will ever see

Hemelvaartsdag: Open huis Heidebeek

Tijdens het open huis van Heidebeek, een basis van Jeugd met een Opdracht in Heerde, mocht Gert Jan met de auto bij de kraampjes staan om de auto te showen, wat te vertellen in de (witte) verhalentent over de reis en rondjes te rijden in het bos. Vooral dat rondjes rijden vonden de kinderen helemaal geweldig!

PS dat bord Australie... tja, het veld was ingedeeld in continenten, en ze hadden nog helemaal niets bij Australie staan, dus vandaar. Zou trouwens wel erg ver rijden zijn ;)
